The photographer of this pic is from Hong Kong… I think the Yarra River runs through the same city. I like the effect of the rain and the light together – a sort of misty, warm glow that fills the skyline by night. Great shot. I like the wide-angle lens perspective and how it bends the image at the edges and the corners of the photo.

This summer in the SF Bay Area has been a warm one… also a strange one as well. Last week, after getting out of work I was greeted by overcast skies and a sprinkle of rain. Mind you I checked the vicinity for any errant sprinklers or rooftop pool-parties but to no avail… a simple miracle of nature here to visit during an odd time of the year.
